Baseball Background:  Rattlesnake Jake entered the Federal League in 1987 playing 2nd base for the now defunct Savage Savages. In 1988 he was a acquired by the Brooklyn Park Dodgers in an expansion move that sent him to right field  .The first three years in the league the Dodgers won the pennant but could not advance past the first round of the playoffs. One year after the Dodgers moved to Golden Valley they finally made it to the Championship game where they were promptly thrashed by Chaska for the title.  When the Dodgers broke up, Jake went on to play for the Hamel Senior Hawks for 2 years in a merger of the old Plymouth Rox and Golden Valley. Two years later the Hawks merged with Minnetonka Grey and became the Lakers.  Three years after that, in the best off season acquisition in the history of the Saints, they picked up the crafty veteran on waivers.  When he enters the hall Jake plans on wearing part of each uniform that got him there.
